HERE IS TODAY'S SCHEDULE OF ASSIGNMENTS: Reading - try to read 20 minutes and write in your Reading Journal (today's date is 3/25/20) what the main idea of what you read was about. What was the message the author was trying to tell you with the characters of your book or the characters in the chapter(s) you read? Make sure you reread each sentence you write to make sure it makes sense. Use those capital letters and punctuation marks!! YOU SHOULD BE DOING YOUR BEST WORK JUST LIKE YOU DO IN OUR CLASSROOM AT TRITT!!! Scholastic Magazine - 1) watch the video for this week's issue; 2) go over the vocabulary slides; 3) Complete your Read and Think worksheet - use your question in your answer just like we do in school. Reread your answers out loud to make sure you hear what you wrote and that what you wrote makes sense. Math - practice your addition and subtraction facts 0-20. Practice telling time with an analog clock. Practice adding and subtracting different amounts of money (coins and dollars). Complete wkbk pg. 438, problems #7, #8, #11, #12, #14, and #15. When doing 7, 8, 11, and 12 remember to rewrite the problem horizontally (ex. 642-215 = ). Writing - if you didn't finish your information paragraph I assigned you Monday, please finish that today. You are going to create an Adobe Spark (you can get to Adobe Spark on MackinVia) on Friday with the information you wrote. If you did complete Monday's informational paragraph, start to create a song, rap, or poem on the life cycle of a plant OR the life cycle of a frog. Word Wizard - complete Set 3, Week 9, #1-9. Spelling - write each of your 5 words five times using a blue crayon/colored pencil for the vowels and a red crayon/colored pencil for the consonants. Science - complete wkbk pgs. 114-115.
