My tables look and smell like a beautiful flower garden!!!! Thank you all so very much for the gorgeous flowers, plants, and flower bouquets!! The colorful roses, daisies, tulips, African violets, etc. are wonderful, and it looks, feels, and smells like a sunny spring day inside our classroom!! This weeks words are: ease, easy, squeak, squeaky, need, needy, gloom, gloomy, goof, goofy, grass, grassy, storm, stormy, crisp, crispy, thirst, thirsty. You will be tested on all 9 y ending words and 3 of the root words. Reading - try and read at least 20 minutes this weekend.

Parent reminder: If you have not already, please sign and return the field trip permission slips for the Chattahoochee Nature Center by the end of next week. This is a wonderful field trip that goes along with our 4th quarter unit on plant and animal life cycles! Next week is Exceptional Children’s Week. On Tuesday, we will be visited by guest speaker Andy Lipman who will teach us about Cystic Fibrosis and accepting other’s differences. Please make sure to ask your child about this! Focus on the fact that you use "er" when comparing 2 things and "est" when you compare 3 or more things. This week's words are: round, rounder, smooth, smoother, light, lighter, funny, funniest, early, earliest, pretty, prettiest, big, bigger, sad, sadder, hot, hottest. The test will be over all the er and est words and 3 of the root words. PARENTS: I sent home a field trip form with attached payment envelope for our Chattahoochee Nature Center Field trip on April 30th. The cost is $10. Please complete the form with your signature and return by March 30th. There is also lunch information to complete on the back of the form. Thank you so much!
