Math - practice your addition and subtraction facts 0-20. Make flashcards if you don't have them already. We will be going to the Fire Safety Village this Thursday, September 13th! Please have your child wear his/her maroon Tritt t-shirt, shorts/pants (girls - please no dresses or skirts), and gym shoes. Also, make sure if your child is bringing their lunch this day, that it is in a disposable bag with his/her name on it - no lunch boxes please! Here is what we will be learning next week: Math - Addition and subtraction strategies to increase fluency (Counting On, Making Ten, Counting Back, Doubles, Decomposing, Balancing Equations) and one step problem solving. Reading/ELA- Story structure and problem/solution. We will be finishing up with collective nouns, and reviewing plural nouns, and adjectives. Writing- Personal narratives; small moment stories. Social Studies- Georgia's Regions (Blue Ridge, Piedmont, Coastal Plains, Valley and Ridge, and Appalachian Plateau). Georgia's Rivers (Savannah, Flint, and Chattahoochee). Science - Finishing up our Matter unit. STEAM- TBD |
