What we will be learning next week: Math - We will begin our unit on measurement. We will focus on feet and inches, and we will practice solving measurement word problems. Reading/ELA - We will begin our unit on poetry. We will focus on finding rhythm and meaning in poems, songs, and stories. We will continue with contractions and possessive nouns. Writing- Informational Social Studies - We will finish the life of Sequoyah and review Mary Musgrove. Science - We will introduce our unit on stars. Students will compare stars based on physical attributes such as size and brightness. STEAM - We will finish our Pumpkin Catapult Challenge and begin our Mary Musgrove Trading Post Challenge.

THEY BOTH SHARED SOME VERY INTERESTING STORIES AS WELL AS PERSONAL EXPERIENCES THEY HAD IN THE MILITARY. THANK YOU BOTH FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY!!!
