SO, IF WE COME BACK WEDNESDAY, WE WILL BE HAVING PE. IF WE COME BACK THURSDAY, WE WILL BE HAVING PE. I HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE!! Here's "Homework" for our Snow Day(s): First and foremost….we do not get snow in Georgia nearly enough to NOT spend time outside playing in the snow. Homework for each day of snow is play outside! Run, build snowmen, have snowball fights, walk in the snow and look at your footprints, listen to the world around you......generally just have fun!! Choose 1 activity for each “snow day” we have. Cut out your choice and glue it to the top of a sheet of notebook paper, then complete. 1. Take a picture of you playing in the snow or draw a picture of something you did in the snow, glue it to the top of a sheet of notebook paper, Write about it. Tell me everything I need to know, include capitals, and periods, and good adjectives. Make sure your handwriting is very neat! 2. Get a ruler or tape measure. Pick 4 places in your yard, measure the depth of the snow. Show it in centimeters, and inches. Were all 4 places the same? Why do you think it was or was not? 3. Think about SNOW and states of matter….As snow falls it goes through all 3 states of matter….. What are they? 4. Do you like snow? Why or why not? Write your opinion of snow, make sure to include your opinion, reasons, evidence/examples, and a good closing that restates your opinion. (OREO)
