Reading - read at least 20 minutes during the weekend!
The students had a fun and awesome learning experience today as we did our Stuck Like Glue STEM challenge which was focused on our matter unit. Ask your child all about what he/she did. A humongous thank you to the 5 parents who helped out with each group. There's no way each group would have had their successes without your wonderful help, and I know it would have been a disaster if I had done it all by myself!! All proceeds go to benefit the fight against childhood cancer through the Rally Foundation. Students may purchase up to 2 donuts each in the cafeteria beginning at 7:20. Also, if you have not already, please turn in your child’s X-drenaline field trip permission slip, lunch order form, and payment envelope. Important Dates: ILC- Thursday the 21st Rally Donut Day- Wednesday the 20th Walk to School Day- Friday the 22nd. Next Week’s Learning Standards: Math- One step word problems (with and without money) Reading/ELA- Context clues & understanding key details/Proper and common nouns continued Writing- Narrative pieces Social Studies/Science- Georgia’s Regions & rivers/Matter STEM- 3D Georgia Regions
