Math - review your addition and subtraction facts 0-20. TRY AND GO TO MOBY MAX THIS WEEKEND TO PRACTICE REVIEW AND EXTENSION SKILLS IN READING AND MATH!!!! WE HAD FUN LEARNING MORE ABOUT CHARACTER TRAITS DURING OUR LLC LESSON TODAY. CHECK-OUT YOUR CHILD'S VIDEO ON SEESAW THAT HE/SHE MADE WITH PIC COLLAGE!!! Our Learning Standards For the Week of August 26th: Reading - We will continue focusing on "What do Good Readers do?" as well as discussing character traits, character changes, and story structure (beginning, middle, and end). Grammar – We will learn about irregular plural nouns (feet, teeth, mice, fish, etc.) Writing- We will continue our unit on small moment stories (personal narratives). We will focus on using good details to bring our stories to life. Math- We will continue our place value unit. Students will build their understanding that the three digits of a number represent amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones. Students will also practice showing numbers in various forms such as expanded form, written form, base ten block form, and standard form. Science- We will continue exploring matter. We will focus on reversible and irreversible changes. STEAM – Stuck Like Glue Challenge.
