Next Week’s Learning Standards: Math- Subtraction with regrouping (base ten blocks) Reading/ELA- Non Fiction text, author’s points in texts Writing- Wrap up of Narrative and intro to Informational Social Studies/Science- Pushes and Pulls (force) STEM- X-drenaline Challenge Healthy Habits Week October 23rd- October 27th In coordination with the National PTA Red Ribbon Week, Tritt works to embrace developing lifelong healthy habits! The purpose of Healthy Habits Week is to focus on the healthy habits we should use in our daily lives! Tritt Counselors Mrs. Edwards & Mrs. Grindstaff teach a lesson to K-5 to address the “why” behind each habit prior to this week. 10/23 Monday: Drink Water- often! Benefits of drinking water on the cafe screen during lunch and on waterdrops throughout the school building 10/24 Tuesday: Eat fruits & veggies- Bring one for a snack. We will crown an official fruit/veggie snack for Tritt 10/25 Wednesday: Know personal safety rules displayed throughout the building. Walk to School Day J 10/26 Thursday: Stress Buster day!
